Server Disappeared from List
If a server you previously created is no longer showing up in your SquidServers app home screen, your server files and world data are almost certainly still intact on your computer disk.
Why This Happens
Section titled “Why This Happens”- Unexpected PC power loss or system crash while the app was running.
- Forced closing of the app before settings could flush to disk.
- Corrupted app index database (
servers.json).
How to Recover Your Server
Section titled “How to Recover Your Server”Step 1: Locate Your Default Server Directory
Section titled “Step 1: Locate Your Default Server Directory”- Open SquidServers and click Settings at the bottom left.
- Check the Default Directory path (by default,
C:\Users\<username>\SquidServerson Windows). - Open File Explorer (or Finder on Mac), navigate to that directory, and check if your server folder is present.
Step 2: Re-Add / Import Server
Section titled “Step 2: Re-Add / Import Server”- In SquidServers, click Create Server or Import Server.
- Point the directory selector to the existing server folder inside your Default Directory.
- Click Add Server.
- SquidServers will scan the directory, detect
server.propertiesand world files, and re-register the server in your dashboard list.
