Run as Administrator

If SquidServers cannot read or write server files, running the app as administrator may resolve the issue. Operating system restrictions can prevent the app from modifying files unless it has elevated privileges.

Note

This applies to Windows only.

Steps

1. Completely close the SquidServers app (make sure it is not minimized in your system tray).
2. Right-click the app icon.
3. Select Run as Administrator.
