Reset Network Stack (Windows Only)

This is a last resort option for errors like Not Reachable and getsockopt on your host.

Caution

This process will reset your network configuration to factory defaults. You may lose custom static IP settings, and your computer will automatically restart. Please save all open work before proceeding.

Steps

1. Open the SquidServers App.
2. Stop your server.
3. Press the Win key.
4. Search CMD.
5. Click Run as administrator.
6. Paste the following command into CMD:

netsh winsock reset && netsh int ip reset && ipconfig /flushdns && shutdown /r /t 5

7. Press Enter.

Your computer will restart automatically.

8. Wait for the operation to complete.
9. Wait for your computer to restart.
10. Log in.
11. Launch the SquidServers App.
12. Start your server.

You should now see your server display as Public next to the public tun.ply.gg address.

If this does not work and you have tried all other available methods, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is likely filtering or blocking the connection. If this is the case there is nothing we can do. You may contact your ISP, but they are unlikely to lift the block as this is often user-wide, meaning all users are affected by this block.
