Why Is My ISP Blocking Playit?

Your ISP may be blocking playit.gg traffic, preventing your server from becoming public. This is uncommon but does happen in certain regions.

How to tell if your ISP is blocking playit

• Your server shows as Public but players cannot connect.
• Other players on the same ISP also cannot connect.
• A VPN fixes the issue temporarily.
• You have tried all steps in Server Not Reachable and Reset Network Stack without success.

What to try

1. Use a VPN: A VPN routes your traffic through a different network and bypasses ISP restrictions. If a VPN fixes the connection, your ISP is likely blocking playit traffic.
2. Use Playit Premium regional tunnels: Playit Premium lets you route through different servers, which may bypass ISP blocks. See Playit Premium.
3. Contact your ISP: Some ISPs will lift the block if you ask, but this is unlikely as the block is often user-wide (affecting all customers).
