Simple Voice Chat Setup

Simple Voice Chat adds proximity-based voice communication to your Minecraft server. Players near each other can hear each other talk in real time.

Setup

Section titled “Setup”
  1. Go to the Plugins/Mods tab in SquidServers.
  2. Select Server Plugins or Server Mods (depending on your server type).
  3. Click Setup Voice Chat and wait for the process to complete.

Troubleshooting

Section titled “Troubleshooting”

If voice chat does not work after setup, try the following steps:

  1. Link a playit account. See Link with Playit.
  2. Set up Voice Chat again manually.
  3. Go to the playit dashboard in the Tunnels tab.
  4. Select the UDP tunnel used for your voice chat.
  5. Open the Protection tab.
  6. Disable DDOS protection.
  7. Save settings.
  8. Restart the server, host, and clients.
