Report bugs, crashes, and incorrect docs in the SquidServers Discord.

GitHub is not an official support or issue tracker for SquidServers. Do not open GitHub issues for the app.
What belongs in Discord
Section titled “What belongs in Discord”- The app fails to install, update, or launch
- A server fails to start, or shows Not Reachable after you followed the docs
- Players cannot join and you already tried the matching troubleshooting page
- A help-center page is wrong or outdated
What does not belong there
Section titled “What does not belong there”- Asking SquidServers to keep a world online while your PC is off (that is not how the desktop app works). See Can I run my server while my PC is off?.
- Playit billing or Playit-account-only problems. Use Playit for those.
- Cracked/pirated Minecraft clients (those are unsupported). See Failed to verify username.
How to write a useful report
Section titled “How to write a useful report”- Search this help center and Discord for the exact error string.
- Follow the relevant troubleshooting guide once.
- Post with:
- SquidServers version
- OS and CPU (on Mac: Apple Silicon vs Intel)
- Server type (vanilla, Paper, Fabric, Forge, modpack name)
- Exact error message
- What you already tried
- Whether joining via LAN on the host works
If the server is modded, say whether you used a server pack rather than a client modpack. See Serverpack.
macOS notes
Section titled “macOS notes”macOS support is experimental. Versions after 0.7.2 require Apple Silicon. Intel Macs are not supported. See Unsupported Mac Version.
