Link with Playit

By default, your server uses a guest account. Linking a full playit.gg account allows you to use premium features like the Premium Network for lower latency and External Domains (for example, play.yourserver.com).

1. Generate your link code

Before opening the SquidServers app, you need to grab a unique setup code from playit.

Log in

Go to playit.gg/login and create an account or sign in to your existing one.

Start the wizard

Once logged in, navigate to the third party select page.

Select SquidServers

In the Third Party app dropdown, click Select an option… and choose SquidServers.

Get your code

Click Next in the bottom right. Copy the Setup Code provided.

Caution

This code expires after a short period. If it expires, simply refresh the page to generate a new one.

2. Link to SquidServers

Now that you have your code, follow these steps inside the app.

Open SquidServers

Select the server you wish to manage.

Go to the Tunnels tab

Click on the Tunnels tab.

Convert your account

Look for the small button with the playit icon (a computer with a heart inside) labeled Convert guest account to full account.

Enter your code

Click or link an existing account and paste your code into the Link Code field.

Confirm

Click Confirm Link. You should see a notification in the bottom right saying Account Linked.

3. Re-establishing tunnels

Once linked, any previous guest tunnels will be removed. You will need to set them up again.

Create a new tunnel

Click Add Tunnel > Create Tunnel and choose Bedrock or Java.

Use an existing tunnel

Click Add Tunnel > Link Existing, select your desired tunnel from the list, and click Link Tunnel.
